Knowledge
He knew his God for God was in his heart.
A laughing child, youth undefiled,
A loving wife. such was his life
Who knew his God
He shared his God with everyone he met
He spoke his words and sang his songs
He taught his law, lived to adore
And share his God. Then sorrow came. He
knew but wept the same,
He spoke no more, his music died
He felt betrayed and love decayed
When sorrow came.
Old and alone, one night a stranger called,
Called seeking God. He spoke once more,
This time to save and new life gave,
Old and alone.
The stranger smiled and said, "You spoke through
doubt,
And shared your God, the God you love,
Through grief and fear, now I am here."
The stranger smiled.
