St. Paul's Camberley
0 Lord look down this Christmas
Upon your people here,
And see the world you died for
Alight with Christmas cheer.
Lord see how we remember
Your birth in Bethlehem,
The shepherds and the wise men
We love and honour them.
O, Lord, look down this Christmas,
And say your work is done,
Your cal'vry was not wasted,
The victory has been won.
Lord see the world you lived for
,Saved by your blood and pain,
O, Lord, we ask this Christmas
When will you come again?
O, Lord, look
down this Christmas,
Upon our worship here,
Then come again in glory
To banish pain and fear.
O, Lord, look down upon us,
Our faith, our hope, our love,
Lord, see how we are longing
To greet the Advent Dove.
O Lord come down this Christmas,
As you did long ago,
Though helpless in a manger
Your power made armies grow.
Now we are here to worship
And praise the Living Son,
O, Lord, help us this Christmas
To make your Kingdom come.
